The second exciting summer of FUN Camps is here! Friends Uniting for Nature (FUN) Camps are a non-profit, summer leadership program for 8-16 year olds, focused on providing environmental education through fun, hands-on activity. For youth aged 13-16 we are offering a Peer Leader Program! Participants aged 9-15 are
challenged through an intensive, creative, immersion English program
featuring 5 hours of daily English classes, educational and physical
afternoon activities with Canadian student mentors, as well as evening
homework and guided learning. For international students who are not staying with family members in Vancouver, safe and comfortable accommodations are
provided at the University of British Columbia. Exciting weekend
adventures include trips to Whistler Mountain, host of the 2010 Winter
Olympics, Grouse Mountain, and a float plane and ferry journey to
Victoria on Vancouver Island.

Create your own wacky characters, cool game play and fun levels in your
very own on-line game! Students will start the week making short
animated films, and each day new programming skills will be taught to
help them make the animations interactive. The final project is a video

Want to have fun, meet friends, and get wet?
False Creek Racing Canoe Club's summer daycamps expose youth to a variety of paddlesports in instructional, game, and race environments. Participants will get to try out a range of exciting kayaks and canoes. Week-long camps will focus on developing basic maneauvering skills, balance, speed, and water safety.
No exeperience is necessary, but participants must be able to swim for a distance of 25m unassisted, with a lifejacket.
