Active Minds/Active Bodies is designed as a unique and flexible summer program which ignites new interests, hones innate skills, emphasizes self-esteem and broadens the scope of every child's vision. Utilizing the theme of each session (Our Wild, Wild World: July 7-18, 2008, Extreme Explorations: July 21-August 1, 2008, and Super Sports: August 18-29, 2008) our campers will connect with friends, both old and new, and stretch their minds, bodies, and imaginations in a fun and friendly environment. Located at Abraham Joshua Heschel Day School's beautiful, secure 3 acre campus in Northridge, Active Minds/Active Bodies offers two 2 week full-day sessions, consisting of three tracks of activities, and one 2 week full-day sports camp (Session 3). Our facility consists of state of the art classrooms, a performance space, new indoor gym, outdoor field and blacktop, computer and science labs, and age appropriate play structures.
