Camp Intrepid – Explore, Discover, Learn! – 6-13 year olds:

Spend the summer aboard the Intrepid for our multi-week, interdisciplinary full-day camp.  This engaging enrichment program gives participants the opportunity to learn while having fun exploring, creating and experimenting. The program offers hands-on activities, museum exhibit exploration and interactive experiences to enhance our camp’s weekly themes such as Marine Mayhem, Intrepid Inventors and Underwater Archaeology.

Where else can you use your imagination and creativity to design your own invention, build a model space shuttle, explore cultures of some of Intrepid’s ports, uncover mysteries from sunken ship artifacts, and as young astronomers learn about the planets, moon and sun while trying your hand at solar cooking? Join us this summer for these and many more exciting hands-on activities.

SOSI – School’s Out, Ship’s In– 6-13 year olds:

The Intrepid has a fun-filled solution for kids during school holidays and vacations throughout the year from 9a.m. – 5p.m. Now when School’s Out, the Ship’s In at SOSI, the Intrepid Museum’s unique full-day drop-off program giving students the opportunity to explore, discover and learn about sea, air and space in a whole new way.
