1^st Annual Chicago Steam Kids Basketball Camp

  The chance to learn the fundamentals, shooting techniques, and defensive principles from professional basketball players is right around the corner with the Chicago Steam. The 2008-2009 Midwest League Champions of the American Basketball Association (ABA) have come to teach their skills to the stars of tomorrow. We are offering kids from all over the Chicago land area to join our very own basketball camp located at our home arena in Chicago Ridge Park District located at 9807 S. Sayre Avenue Chicago Ridge, IL 60415. The camp will take place from July 20- 23^rd and will run from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Boys and girls from ages 7-14 are welcome to participate.

   There will also be the inclusion of former NBA players as guest speakers. Kenny Battle, a former star at the University of Illinois, spent four seasons in the NBA most notably with Phoenix Suns. Our other guest speaker is Jeff Sanders, a former first round draft pick of the Chicago Bulls, also played four seasons in the NBA. We are honored to have these men share their...
