BMD offers a summer dance program for beginner to pre-professional students ages 8+, taught by exceptional teachers and performers of international acclaim. The curriculum is designed to develop the strength and flexibility acquired through a pure classical technique. Class sizes are limited, affording the students individual attention. Students are auditioned by the professional faculty the first day of each session and placed in the appropriate program of classes, according to their level of strength and technical ability. Students attend two to three daily ballet classes, including a ballet technique class of up to two hours duration. Depending on their level, dancers are required to take appropriate classes in pointe, variations, modern dance, choreography ad jazz.
