Full of Ourselves is an interactive and multi-dimensional wellness program designed to help girls stay healthy, empowered and confident as they approach and move through adolescence.

Through a variety of activities including discussion, journaling, art, guided meditation, yoga and more, the curriculum aims to:

•Give girls an entirely different lens through which to see, know and value themselves

•Provide tools with which to consistently make choices from a place of strength and self-respect

•Create a forum and develop tools to build and sustain positive and unique self-image in the face of the daily messages of media, popular culture and peers

•Challenge girls to BE their creative vision of themselves through action in their own life and by serving their community with commitment, courage and compassion

Over the course of 5 days, 6 hours each day, participants will explore a variety of topics:  self and body awareness and acceptance, media literacy and ways to counter unhealthy media messages, techniques for dealing with stress, nutrition basics, the power of positive thinking and action and the importance of healthy relationships.  In its summer day camp form, girls will have the opportunity to experience an in-depth and less time restricted approach to the fun, educational and empowering activities that make up this dynamic workshop.
