2008 Summer Program - July 2nd to August 27th, 2008 Lambda School of Music and Fine Arts is proud to present its inaugural summer program in the arts. This event provides a unique opportunity for children from the ages of 6 through 12 to sample all of the arts programs offered at Lambda. Over the course of two months, from July 2 to August 27, young learners will spend a high-quality summer with like-minded children led by a team of professional artists, members from the higher education academic community, pedagogues, and mature assistants. Overview The theme of the summer program is "Enrichment in the Arts" where children, in small groups, participate in learning the various arts disciplines, including piano, violin, voice, theatre arts, dance, graphic arts, and virtual instruments. These activities are enhanced with entertaining exploratory workshops in the science and technology of the arts, and a full series of 40 enrichment performances, talks and seminars on the arts given by professional artists.
