This
brilliant & inspiring Theatre Arts Camp is for those who are
serious about having fun exploring the world of theatre, & want to
build confidence, team building & leadership skills!

Musical Theatre!
Participants will learn lyrics and choreography to a Broadway song, appropriate to their age & skill level.
Creative Movement!
In a positive and safe learning environment, participants will explore the physical art of Commedia dell’Arte (the root of pantomime).
Scene Study!
Participants will engage in work-shopping scenes from classical & contemporary
playwrights such as William Shakespeare, George Bernard Shaw, Arthur
Miller, & Tom Stoppard, and more!
StageCraft
After
engaging in fun & challenging theatre exercises, participants will
become trained in the skill of blocking, and staging as they pertain to
their character and scene!
Characterization!
Imagination & Sensory exercises
will help to develop different characters. Participants will choose a comedic
and dramatic monologue choosing from contemporary or classic plays.
(Ideal for arts–school audition & commercial preparation.)

Finale Performance!
On the 2nd Friday of every camp session, participants will perform a short play & finale presentation for parents & friends beginning at 3:30pm.
Mask Making!
Participants will develop their creativity as they design
& create their own masks and use them in a scene.
