Comprehensive study of dance, music, drama and dramatic writing with a special focus on the visual arts supported by a museum study program at the Met. Learn the skills of scene study, improvisation, set design and costume design while exploring all aspects of theater production. Campers will work toward a full musical production to be performed the last week of camp. Campers will also participate in master classes in Shakespeare, Mask, Comedia and Mime. Through our \Meet the Artist\ program, campers will meet and work with professional actors, directors and designers from the Broadway stage. Field trips may include a backstage tour of a Broadway house as well as trips to Broadway productions. Daily field sports, art classes and weekly swimming provide campers with an energetic and active summer.
