This week at the Ottawa Art Gallery, children will dream up and explore an imaginary city through the creation of its many components. Participants will engage in a variety of art activities, from inventing a hidden world under the city through paintings and drawings, to constructing buildings and structures out of cardboard and paper, to sculpting the landscape out of paper maché. Visiting artists will lead children in specialized workshops focused on the creation of their mini-city mini-models. From 8:30am to 4:00pm  (free aftercare until 4:30) July 6th to July 10th 2009.
