The country’s only full time professional school of Chinese dance, the NY Chinese Cultural Center’s School of the Arts Program, is proud to offer numerous classes in Chinese Folk Dance, Chinese Language, Acrobatics, and Chinese Art for children ages 3 ½ and up this summer. NYCCC is home to the acclaimed professional dance company, Dance China NY. Large mirror-paneled studios house classes in Chinese folk and ancient classical dance, Peking Opera, and acrobatics. Chinese painting, calligraphy, paper cutting, paper folding, and language, round out the curriculum. A recital is held at the end of the summer at our center to showcase everything the children have learned. They will come to know Chinese traditional arts through these programs, and gain a deeper appreciation and love of Chinese culture. Early drop off/late pick-up is also available.
