The Sports Training Academy is a 10-week summer school program for grades 7 – 11, including enrolling seniors for the upcoming fall semester. This unique, summer program offers the opportunity for academic enrichment and personal growth within an intellectually rigorous and nurturing small community. The Sports Training Academy distinguishes students for college and lifelong learning. Student-athletes selected to enroll in this program will be more enticed to enroll at prestigious colleges and universities, including Penn State University, Temple University, Villanova, University of Pennsylvania, Rutgers, DUKE University, University of Maryland, Georgetown, Kutztown University, Moravian College, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Cheyney, Lincoln, and many others. We combine a college preparatory curriculum with college admission testing preparation, daily assignments, and weekly themes based on the most popular college majors. The Sports Training Academy accepts up to 50 students to attend for one summer semester at one of our two locations. In a close-knit community, student-athletes and staff develop a sense of responsibility and generosity. Classroom instruction includes topics such as business, sports management/marketing, advertising, public/community service, psychology, law, journalism, and other popular collegiate majors. Programs transition into the classroom when the next school year starts with knowledge on being a leader and a role model amongst their peers.
