Summer horsemanship camp at Promenade Horsemanship Academy consists of theory and hands on experienc. Teaching is based on natural horsemanship so children learn how to communicate with the horse through body language both on the ground and when riding. We start our students riding bareback so they can feel the horse's movement and learn how to sit and balance properly. Safety is emphasized. Students receive individualized instruction because their are multiple instructors and volunteers. Promenade offers three levels of horsemanship camps and a beginning jumping class.
