Ecology camp for 6-13 year-olds at the farm emphasize hands-on activities in ecology and environmental science Each week of the camp is devoted to a particular environmental theme - food and farming; animals and insects; water; trash and recycling; and forest ecosystems – with hands-on learning activities focused on the themes. Weekly field trips support the various environmental topics. Members of the youth crew (ages 14+) work on projects around the farm that teach them carpentry, maintenance and gardening skills in addition to learning about punctuality, cooperation and appropriate workplace behavior....

Schooner Sound Learning\'s summer ecology programs for kindergarten through third grade take place at coastal sites around New Haven. Children explore a different site each day learning about tide pools, mud flats, sandy beaches and more. Sea Urchins ages 4-5 9am-12pm, Sea Sprites grade 1-3 9am-4pm. Students in grades 6-12 board the rigged schooner Quinnipiack and other vessels for a full day of marine science, seamanship and fun.
