At Camp Nehemiah, emphasis is given to Christian values including good citizenship, patriotism, sexual abstinence before marriage, self-respect, honesty, kindness, modesty, humility, unselfishness, service, the value of hard work, generosity,  and good manners.  We believe these values can be learned through individual character development by the use of Bible study, daily chapel services, Bible memorization, discipline and hard work (occasionally for brief periods, campers are required to help with “chores”).  We use the King James Bible which, for the sake of unity, is the only Bible we permit campers to bring. ...
