BayCreek Paddling Center is pleased to again offer our popular summer day-camp for
kids 7 to 13 years old. The Kids Paddlesport Camp is four fun-filled
half-days of activity emphasizing the development of canoeing and
kayaking skills with a focus on water safety and respect for the
environment.
The camp utilizes kayaks especially designed for
children to assure proper fit and ease of use. All equipment,
including personal floatation devices (lifevests), boats and paddles,

Camp begins each day with a warm-up & morning meeting of vocal and
physical exercises, improvisation activities and games, and
announcements about the day.
Next, campers rotate through dance, vocal, and acting classes. Each
class is an hour in length and focuses on instruction and improvement of
skills -- not rehearsal. After a break for lunch, campers will engage
in master classes taught by area professionals in dance, improvisation,
voice, or acting/movement. Other students will begin rehearsing for the
showcase performance and applying what they have learned.
