SUMMER MATTERS is an innovative day camp experience for children, ages 6 - 21, with and without special needs. The Extended School Year Program at The Vanguard School provides services to eligible students with disabilities, age 6 - 21, during the course of a six-week summer session. Individualized reading and math instruction are presented daily in conjunction with an our program theme - "Around the World". Additional services include speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and counseling as designated on each student's Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). The program is offered in a "summer day camp" atmosphere that is grounded in academics.
