These camps are specifically tailored for beginning athletes, ages 8-12, who would greatly benefit from exposure to fundamental training.  These camps are ideal for athletes who have minimal or no experience and want have a positive, fun introduction to NBC Camps.  These camps are highly recommended as a first step experience for young campers before they transition to overnight or extended day camps.  These camps focus on elevating skills, creating an environment of encouragement and success, as well as the NBC experience of the total camp for the total person....

Daily riding lessons for beginning riders in Western or English, and for advanced riders in Jumping or Dressage.  Horsemanship and safety with horses will be emphasized.  Riders will be divided into small classes at an appropriate level for their ability.  Riders can use a school horse or bring their own to further its training.  The camp will also feature fun horseback activities and trail rides, as well as educational classes in horse anatomy, feeding, health and care, and saddle and bridle parts and their care.  Taught by college level riding instructor Betty Hirst who has more than 38 years of...
