Summer-Daycamps.com only lists quality day camps. Programs that are not exclusively for day campers may list free-of-charge on our partner site www.mysummercamps.com. Summer-Daycamps.com maintains the right to refuse to list any program in our directory. Summer-Daycamps.com will not accept listings for any hate groups or organizations that discriminate on the basis of race or religion. Single religion programs are both invited and acceptable as long as they are categorized as such.

With Summer-Daycamps.com you can update the listings of your programs over the Internet any time you want. Summer-Daycamps.com also provides online statistics reporting the number of times visitors view each program listing page and click thru to your site. Additional advanced features are always under development and will be automatically added as they become available.

With Summer-Daycamps.com you have the option to be as hand-on as you like. We can use material off your web site to generate the listing page, or you can do it all yourself with our online tools.

Summer-Daycamps.com provides all participating programs with a listing page. If your organization offers more than one type of program, you can have additional listing pages at a reduced rate.

Summer-Daycamps.com offers two different membership levels. A free listing allows you to add your camp to our database, as well some basic information about your camp. Google ads will be displayed on your detailed page.

Summer-Daycamps.com listings contain basic information (program name, participant ages, etc.), detailed description, 1 logo, upto 20 photos, and more.

Each listing page can be listed in a category (e.g. Academic or Sports). While program managers can suggest categories, final choice is made by Summer-Daycamps.com editors. In addition, we reserve the right to re-arrange categories. If your organization offers more than one different type of program you can mention them all on a single profile page, but it can be only linked into the directory for one category. If want to be listed in more categories, you need to purchase additonal profile pages.

Profile pages can be listed in any U.S. or Canadian city. If your program operates in more locations, they can be each added at additional cost.

If you have a Paid Membership you have the ability to add Google Video to your Detailed Page. Here are some quick instructions to get you started with Google Video. First go to http://video.google.com/ On the right hand side you can sign in, and below that there is a link to create a new account. You may need to validate your account using the email address you signed up with. Once you've created your account and logged in, you will be able to upload videos.

On the right hand column, near the top, there is an area called My Videos with two links. The first is Upload Videos, where you can post new videos online, the second is Uploaded Videos, where you can view and modify the videos you already have online.

Upload your video and enter in all the relevant information. It may take a few minutes to upload, depending on the size of the video. The largest you can upload is 100MB, so make sure your video is smaller than that. After you've uploaded your video, login in to Summer-DayCamps.com and modify any one of your camps. Near the bottom of the modify form, just before the pictures, is a place to enter your Google Video docId.

Add Streaming Video To add streaming video to your listing, you need to first upload it to Google Video. Then update the "docId" when you are adding or modifying a camp. To delete a video, enter 0.

How to Find docId

1. Load your google video in a browser
2. Each Google Video has a URL with the following format:
   http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-155038520578796219 &hl=en
3. Copy and paste your Google Video docId marked above in red into the box above.

Because Summer-Daycamps.com is so easy to use, we have found that all programs within a category receive great exposure.

Still there needs to be some ordering. Summer-Daycamps.com orders listings randomly, with paid listings grouped above free listings.

Summer-Daycamps.com re-orders the listings each night.

To remove the Google Ads from your listing, simply go to the Modify Camp page, select the camp you want to make a payment for, and click the New Payment link.
