The focus of NCC is 2D and 3D video game design, computer programming, digital video production, web page design, Android Apps programming, A+ and Network+ certification, and software applications including animation, Flash and graphics. Our Pottery / Ceramic Art Summer Camp programs are designed to provide children and teens with the experience of an actual professional pottery studio. During each weekly program, the students will learn to use the potters wheel, learn handbuilding / sculpturing techniques and glaze all of their projects that they will accomplish during the program. The projects are fun and creative and will be taught by our accomplished artist / teachers. No prior ceramics experience is required. Sessions begin June 21, 2010. Schooner Sound Learning\'s summer ecology programs for kindergarten through third grade take place at coastal sites around New Haven. Children explore a different site each day learning about tide pools, mud flats, sandy beaches and more. Sea Urchins ages 4-5 9am-12pm, Sea Sprites grade 1-3 9am-4pm. Students in grades 6-12 board the rigged schooner Quinnipiack and other vessels for a full day of marine science, seamanship and fun.
