In 2006, the Kennesaw Parks & Recreation Department is offering nine themed week-long Summer Activity Day Camps at the Kennesaw Community Center. Camp activities are age and developmentally appropriate, and may include arts & crafts, group games, sports (instructional and play), indoor & outdoor play, and rated G movies. Some weeks may include special guest speakers, demonstrations and short walking trips to local attractions.
